1.33 engine strange tapping on idle

CTScott you know you're right, finally I was able to pinpoint where the tapping comes from, exhaust manifold, under the heat shield, that's why it's very clear could be heard from the passenger side wheel arch. Actually the same tapping but very weak i can hear from my rav4, so I guess it some kind of toyota's feature. Reminds me my friend's 2003 corolla that had sounds from intake manifold....
