The head bolts for the Echo require a double hex bit. It looks like a T-5 Torx bit but is not. Snap-On sells the proper bit (8 mm, I think but it's best to check).

If you choose to do the head get the proper tool.

I am assuming the Yaris uses the same head bolts.

X2 The head bolts are a double hex 8MM. I'm at an auto wreckers pulling a head as I type this.
