Not the same engine or model I know, but the 1.2 litre version was not able to progress up steep hills. It ran out of "puff". Fiat, after denying a problem did eventually fix it with a software update. They'd apparently erred too far towards fuel economy at the expense of power. Hence the inability to go uphill!
