40mm Lowering Springs :D

Finally decided to buy the 40mm lowering springs that are produced locally here in SA. I took pictures of the whole install but unfortunately most of them got lost in Blackberry land :/

I am still busy with the front side because the allen key we used in the install snapped of in the tower screw annndd night came sooner than usual and I have no garage. So if all goes well and half my car hasn't been stolen by the morning I'll have some good footage of the after (sadly only 1 before picture wasn't corrupted)

I am done and the result was better than I expected! Amazing handling feel especially at speed and over bumps. No scraping or rubbing and obviously a much nicer fender gap (especially rear) :D

40mm makes a big difference especially when you wanna clean the roof I discovered

How did you tint your tail lights? They look awesome.

Looks good

Just enough to look proper, but could be mistaken for stock. I dig that.

Thanks guys! :D The stock look is what I'm after (which is why I removed my projectors and painted my headlights slightly). I bought them from a South African company called Evo-Tuning who are mainly involved with the Mitsubishi Lancer stuff. http://www.autostyle.co.za/ << Here's the distributor I bought them from. They got some other stuff for the Yaris as well but not much.

The tail-lights are a mix of Lamin-X and PlastiDip, so it seems dark but all the bits where the light shines through are just smoked tint so light output isn't really affected AND it's temporary if I ever want to remove it :)

What it seems like **

With light shining directly on it

With lights on!!

It was an experiment because originally I just wanted a light tint to give the red the cherry red look
