I have over 500,000 miles on my original timing chain. No problems.

I read this thread on Friday when it only had 6 posts. At that time, after reading the FIRST SENTENCE of the OP, I said to myself "yaris9876 and trini each have over 500,000 miles on their original timing chains, this OP does NOT need to replace his timing chain". I was going to type that as a reply. Then I read post #6 from the OP (after reading 2, 3, 4, and 5). It seemed to me (re post #6) that just how much of a waste replacing the timing chain would be completely went over the OP's head, so I didn't bother .
