If the maf was defective you would have a consistant check engine light code. Most likely for low air volume. Which could be caused also by a completely clogged air filter that has never been changed.

Hi, do you know where the port on the TB the iacv is? Im trying to clean the TB without taking it off the car. Any tips on what i should try to target on the TB?
Also i noticed after cleaning that the butterfly seems to creak when playing with it with the pedal, is it normal? Or do i need to get a special lube or something?
Ps. Sorry to necro a thread, but ive cleaned the MAF (on the air filter cover) and TB with a carb cleaner and i still have intermittent idling issues, without a CEL.
