Anytime you have boost it is best to increase the fuel pressure by one psi per psi of boost to counteract the plenum pressure. The stock fuel pressure regulator can be modified to increase the fuel pressure by up to about 10 psi (beyond that you would need a more hefty fuel pump). You can do so by further crimping the spring end of the FPR, but you need a method of measuring the pressure increase as you adjust it.
