Very strange squish sound!!! - Toyota Yaris Forums

Hi DJruel,

I have a 2008 automatic Sedan. I do get a similar sound at exactly the same circumstances and scenarios that you described. I can tell you that it has always been the case. However, it doesn't always occur on hot starts for me. I would describe the sound more like of a pressurizing or pressure releasing mechanism. I suppose it is normal and always assumed that it is pumping up the brakes. Someone else might have the a better insight on what the sound is, but if we are talking about the same sound I wouldn't worry too much about it.

in worst cases, have the dealership check it.
