I'm my quest to find out what this NETZ emblem is all about, I came across this gem... I still don't get what NETZ is about...

NETZ is a Toyota dealership in Japan.
They don't have dealerships with someone's name attached to it like Richardson Toyota or Crazy Mike's Auto Mall, etc. If you go to a NETZ dealer, you could only buy cars like Vitz, bB, Sentia etc. but you could not buy a Corolla or Alphard. I f you wanted to buy a Corolla, you'd have to go to a COROLLA dealership. Likewise, your can't buy a Vitz at a COROLLA dealer. NETZ is like a Toyota "brand" like Lexus is a Toyota brand as well. So the emblem is a Netz emblem. EDIT: The emblem is a stylized "N" as well as a stylized image of a helix of DNA. NETZ= "Network of Energetic Teams for Zenith" That helix has several meanings like the connection between dealers and drivers and within the Toyota family, etc. - lots of symbolism. I never understood that either - thanks for the explanation! Having said that, it's really not a good-looking emblem at all; very heavy handed and WAY too chrome-y for my tastes.

yeah, I just gone one in the mail. it looks pretty good in person. it would be easy to smoke it or paint it. I just like it because it's different and I've never seen anyone around here with this emblem. I do see kia optima's with those weird k emblems but that's about it...
