Thanks for the quick reply. Why do you think I need to remove one of the two resistors? Would the ASL button not need a resistor?

It's also a shame about the LED lights.

No, the ASL works as a direct I/0. You may try without removal of resistors. Maybe it will still work.

Might try this this weekend and get back to the forum on findings
