It sounds to me like the voltage regulator is still causing you grief. Have you taken note if the instances of battery light flickering coincide with wet or foggy days?

Hi WeeYari,

Thanks for responding. It doesn't seem to correlate with weather conditions.

I just came back from the mechanic as I needed my front donut gasket replaced. As soon as it was replaced, the battery light no longer lit up. The mechanic did not disconnect the battery before welding so I am not sure why, but I am quite pleased nonetheless. The lights no longer dim on me.

Would anyone know why replacing the front muffler gasket would somehow alleviate the flickering battery? Could it have been the rough vibration that "might have" interfered with the serpentine belt in any way?

Weird!
Probably a slipping serpentine belt (by the alternator) or a loose alternator connection caused by the vibration, all based on what ive read on your post.
