Better alternative to front bumper push pins/retainer clips for 2009 Hatch?

+1 on the Zip ties.


When I had the clips come of the under tray, I temporarily zip tied it back up, as a service was nearly due. I asked the service rep to replace them, and he said the original clips get damaged and fall out very easily. Their policy was to replace any missing clips with zip ties.

Yes, this was at the Toyota dealership...

Yeah my front bumper has been totally replaced twice for cosmetic damage while driving. With an entirely new set of push pins every time and attempting to be careful during light replacements I was still having problems with them not reseating right or busting... I mean technically you could use a screw and a wing nut in at least a few places - but these seem super sturdy, well as sturdy as a plastic screw can be, and I won't have to cut them out every time for removal!
