Brake maintenance is not a bad idea. But generally people don't do it and just change the rotor and pads when it rusts.
Rear drums should be cleaned and adjusted for maximum performance. Notice how many clicks you need to pull the handbrake... Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
