I'd love to see how they look from an incoming direction. Up close they seem like they have a decent cut off but from any kind of distance they shed a lot of bright light up top even on low beams.

I'm all for brighter lights but in almost every case I've seen anything brighter than oem needs a projector or else they blind other drivers and tell "I do half assed mods to look good but screw other drivers"

They may actually not be bad at all tough to tell though without seeing them in person. They are much better than oem.

So many cars in my area throw in led's or hid's and skip on projectors to "save money" and they make it impossible to see.

I totally agree with this. I'm currently using these LED bulbs, which are simmilar:(http://www.hidvisioncanada.ca/produc...ed-driver.html) and let me tell you, it's darn near impossible to get a proper cut-off with them.

Check out the picture below of how it looks onwards. Note: Driver side needs allignment. Any DIY guides on how to do this?

This thing is, reflector housings were never designed for brighter output. The cut-off will always be washy. The same thing will happen if you change your OEM bulbs with brighter halogen bulbs.

If you trully want a poper cut-off, then a projector retrofit is the only real way to go.
