Ah that one.
It should still be possible. I don't have experience with hacking that particular type of meter but based on the other meter I think its definitely possible because, I have seen other meters like that which have the extra functionality. Toyota just disables some of the features in the firmware of the meter. For things like outside temperature you may have to wire an additional sensor. For things like the fuel consumption and etc no additional wiring needed. I can modify the code to enable the features. How much time/money/effort are you willing to put into this ?
