Won't hold ...that shaft is spinning fast and by the sounds of it no point it's done just drive it and if it starts making noises stop and replace it

You can get a half shaft assembly cheap at Canadian tire.the first set I got from there lasted awhile.If it's not clicking to bad online can be even cheaper if you can wait a couple weeks.

Try the Saran Wrap. If it comes off it comes off. If it doesn't it doesn't. Don't let someone's opinion defeat you!
