All cars are set up to understeer as stock. That is why you see so many rear bars for all kinds of cars. Ashley |

A dumb question then, if someone wanted to simply control body roll, would a rear anti-sway bar do the trick?

The parts got installed yesterday. I'll get some pics up here in a few mins. The rear swaybar took all of 10mins to install and the front tower bar took maybe 15min since you gotta adjust the bar, brackets, and tighten everything down.
Overall I gotta say that the car feels fantastic! The corners are stiffer and the car's understeer has definitely been reduced. I noticed this primarily on a specific corner on my local twisties. There's no real signs of oversteer either which is a plus. I gotta say that the biggest bonus is the elimination of the body roll. I'm so happy that my car doesn't feel like a minivan anymore. ![]() I'm getting new tires and a full alignment on Monday, then me and some friends are hitting the mountain next Sunday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Pics of both bars and brackets. Each bar is only held on with only two bolts on each side. I took a pic of the brackets so you can get an idea of how to install each one.
The TRD Sway Bar uses the stock shock bottom bolts and a new bolt on each side to connect. The Tanabe Strut Bar uses two new bolts and nuts to connect. First you measure out the length to ensure all four holes line up. The place the bolts through the top and down into the wheel well. Reaching into the wheel well to put the nut is kinda annoying, but not hard to do. Do this for all four bolts, tighten them up, then tighten down the bolts on the actual bar, and you're good to go.
