I found it awfully amusing that the ONLY thing they found to laud about the Yaris were the cost-hiking gimmick 'safety' features that only incredibly old, lazy, stupid or drunk drivers (none of which should even be on the road) could find remotely useful. The 2019 Corolla hatch takes it a step further with automated features to 'keep your stupid ass in your own lane' and pop up pretty little traffic signs on your dash for Stop, Speed Limit, etc. (meaning that you are watching your dash instead of the real world out there in front of you). Don't even get me started on stupid 'rain sensing' wiper blades. Great features for self-driving cars, but stupid cost-hiking gimmicks (that WILL need expensive repairs down the road) for normal cars.

I agree. Put me down as an official member of the "grumpy old man" club.
