As well as the 80's Chevy Nova.
![]() Say what you want about the Toyota Cavalier but they were very reliable and fairly quick for their time |

I have heard that they have a lot of potential, especially with the 2.4

We had this NOVA . It was an '86 lift back. Best car we owned in 40+ years . Picked it up for $1,000 with nearly 100,000 miles . It was the 1.6 ltr. with a 3 speed auto . It passed on
close to 270,000 miles . Very hard driving . Lots of stop and go . It had the ECO button for A/C . Was told by transmission specialist it had a MAZDA transmission . Changed oil every 3>4,000 miles and tranny fluid 25>30,000 miles .
