you cannot read codes without an OBD scanner/reader. you need to buy it, very cheap from aliexpress or any from your local auto store. if you dont want to buy then you may borrow from your friends if they have..

just pair it with your phone then you need to run some aps like torque or other apps that can scan and read error codes and the error code/s will pop up for you to make a start of your diagnosis.
