No, the 2015-2017 Yaris hatch taillights won't properly fit the 2012-2014 Yaris hatch without also changing out the rear bumper cover. Also, the wiring will be different, as the 2015-2017 taillights don't have any reverse lights in them, since those are annoyingly located in a separate unit on the lower middle rear bumper.
So, you would have no reverse lights on your 2012-2014 Yaris hatch if you did use them.
