When starting the engine, make sure you turn the ignition key to position 1, wait a sec or two, and then go to position 2. When you go straight from 0 to 2 it may chirp.
I assume it has something to do with the computer that needs that 1 extra second to readjust the alternator excitation current - basically to offload the alternator to make the starter life easier. |
