I always did like the Yaris sedan of that era a lot better than the Corolla it was up against. The Yaris sedan also aged 100x better compared to that Corolla.
On a related note, I would trade my 2020 Corolla SE 6-MT sedan in a minute for an (appropriate color) 2018 Yaris SE hatch (which was never even sold in my region of the USA, or I would have one now).
