Heated seats switch: are they 'plug in'?
Hello, first of all I hope you guys are good. Second: sry for my bad english
I have a Yaris 3rd gen 2017, active hybrid, and I see that I have the wiring for the heated seats, but obviously I haven't the switch. The code of the item is 84751-0D040 or also 15B088 from RAV4: https://www.totalparts.nl/eng/car-pa...2011-2012-2013 If I buy the item and install the fuse, will the heating seats work? I don't think so, but I have already installed the Cruise Control and auto beam with the existing light sensor, so.....hope it works! Also with the electronic folding mirror, if I install this switch: https://www.totalparts.nl/eng/car-pa...2018-2019-2020 will they work installing the little motor? The cable is ready... Thanks! |

No. Some models will come "pre-wired," but putting the switch in will only give you half of the circuit completed. You would still need to install seat heating elements into the seats, and in the case of power mirrors, you'd have to actually install power mirrors.
