Did you somehow manage to bugger up the two originals? If you are thinking that the new strut assembly requires different bolts, it doesn't.

No, I will not be changing my own struts. I have a local mechanic that does that. The car is 12 years old, and it has seen many New England winters. Plus, when I undercoated the vehicle 4 years ago, I did not want to replace the front shocks and they were rusting through, so I hit them with CRC rust converter, and then went over it with 3 M undercoating. I did as far up and down on the strut as I could do. I want my mechanic to be able to just cut off the bolts if he has too. I will be traveling 3000 miles with the car in a few months, and I do not what any problems with the bolts that connect the struts.
