Problem with the 2ZZ-GE is that they aren't really rebuildable due to those MMC cylinder liners and finding low mileage ones that haven't been beat on are getting harder and more expensive. Good engines though, probably the last true "hotrod" 4 cylinder Toyota built. 2ZZ-GEs have been swapped into Yaris'. Not alot of documentation about it unfortunately though.
