Metra 72-8104 should be the correct adapter harness for your car.
If I remember right, the speakers in our 3rd gens are riveted on and will need to be drilled out. I live in Alberta, -40s are the norm during winter, whatever insulation comes from the factory should be sufficient for Montreal. https://paulstravelpictures.com/Toyo...Removal-Guide/ This dude has a bunch of really good guides on maintenance stuff regarding 3rd gens, give his site a look. I can't help you about amp power, audio mods aren't my thing outside of a good set of speakers. lol
