Not sure yet if I want to paint it or not. Guess when I eventually do get it I'll put it on and see. Too many people around here don't get it, and have painted the hood black. +25 HP! I figure the CF hood, painted or not, would serve 3 purposes: Weight reduction (probably not much), looks, and functionality for the SRI.

you have ricers around there with regular hoods painted black to make them "look like CF" as well?

Oh yeah, BIG time. I think for every black hood I see (other than on all black vehicles of course) 1 out of 40 is CF. I have a great pic on my cell phone I will put up here today. Someone had a honda prelude with a suzuki emblem up front, a red filled honda emblem on back hanging by one peg. Also the interior was stripped. Oh, the killer was the spray painted stripe down the middle, the guy didn't even bother masking!

I should be able to get the picture up in a hour or so, it was awful! Oh, it was at wal-mart too
