Putting in a simple start button is easy enough, you just need to splice into the ignition wires so that when you press the button, it closes the same circuit that turning the key all the way would do.
But, this still requires you to insert the key and turn it to the ON position. I am researching into commercially available RFID stuff in order to make a totally keyless solution. But, the car's built in immobilizer system might make this pretty much impossible, as it uses its own transponder system to identify the key that is physically in the ignition. No key, no way to start the engine, which sorta defeats the purpose! Which leads me to the question, do all of Yarii in the US/Canada have the immobilizer as standard?
