NF210 Install with Pics
Hey guys. I used Chris's DIY for the install, but I had to modify it for the rear springs...I COULD NOT break the nuts loose on the shocks, so I just loosened them from the top (easily accessed in the hatch) - I can post more details/pics if anyone is interested.
As far as the springs go - What a difference! The ride is a bit stiffer (not that noticeable), but the cornering is drastically improved. IMO, the drop is perfect. I don't really want the car to be that low - just for the wheels to be concentric with the wheel wells. I almost went for the DF210s, but I'm glad I chose NF210s.Thanks again for all your help, everybody. Next come the wheels (they should be here next week)... The first pic is before. The next two are after. Last edited by KwonSau; 06-15-2007 at 11:18 PM. |

Thanks! I ordered black Konig Heliums (I wanted feathers, but no one has them in stock and Konig has them backordered). I got them in 15" so I can use the stock tires.

Looks gorgeous! Can't wait to see your wheels installed. If only I could talk my better half into letting me buy an LB! I'm envious!

Thanks for the compliments, everybody.
To take the pictures, I used a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z1. It's a little 3.2 megapixel point and shoot, but the lens is huge for a camera in that class (that's why I got it - couldn't spring for a DSLR). I think they discontinued this camera, but it may have a replacement. http://ca.konicaminolta.com/products...-z1/index.html As for picture quality, I think it was a combination of the time of day (the second pic is reflecting the sunset off of the car), and the Meguires Gold Line wax (again, thanks to the advice on this forum) - it's probably the best wax I've used. Thanks again! Last edited by KwonSau; 06-16-2007 at 11:14 PM. |

Good advice...I should have done a little more research, I guess. That would have made life a lot easier, and saved about an hour's worth of work.
