I mounted the horizontal bar where you mounted the bottom points of the X bars. mounting it this way allows it to clear the metal hump that i am assuming you trimmed. not sure about trimming interior pieces where the seat belts mount cuz i removed my back seat and seatbelts saved a lot of weight, i can feel the difference in acceleration. nice, nice!!!
It would be kinda ghetto, but you could use some big zip ties to attach the posts of the headrests to the crossbar, if you are worried about the seatback flapping forward...

Thanks Man , the rear seat stays in place , just doesn't lock into place . Doesn't bother me , there is still a back seat if needed and it still feel like normal when sitting it , even though its foward about an inch or two . Its been dumping rain for the last 2 days so I haven't been able to finish the install/ take better pictures .

I doubt it's "better". This serves a completely different purpose. It doesn't provide any safety enhancement and isn't for harness termination, it just stiffens up the rear end some.

well that's what i was going for... because i know a roll cage will stiffen up the chassis i was just wondering if this will do a better job at it

no it wouldn't be better then the roll cage, as that affects the stiffness in multiple directions, the rear cross brace basically stiffens the flex mostly in the rear end making the rear suspension more effective, where as the 6pt roll cage effectively stiffens the entire chassis... and as we all should know.... a stiffer chassis is what we all want, it makes the suspension do its job better... the brace is good for those that want a stiffer chassis, without having to deal with the roll cage getting in the way of the passenger cabin
plus its a whole lot cheaper then a roll cage and diy |

$1200? You can have someone make a custom cage, pretty much anything you want, for WAY less than this.
