It's an invaluable tool for those that travel for work and constantly find themselves in strange cities and towns. I don't use it at home, but for the traveller and road warriors it makes sense as this is a case where the new tech is way, way better than the old (paper maps.)

I have my GPS and scangage II mounted in my glove box. I did get the external antenna for it and it sits on the dash at the windshield. When I get out of my car I close the glove box and there’s nothing to see.

Don't own a GPS, problem solved.

Now, if I can only figure out how to keep myself from getting lost...

Find more posts by the OP.

Is he an eonon marketing rep?? I think someone needs to pay a vendor fee if 70% of their posts are just an advertisement for shitty ebay HUs.

edit: and the article is retarded. Who would have though with 1000% as many GPS(es?) on the road that there would be more stolen???

I have a TOMTOM ONE XL - it goes up when I need it, and when I'm not using it - it stays in the house or in the hard shell holder it came with in my purse. My MP3 player is in my phone, so I've got that covered also.

I have a Crime Guard 750i to take care of the rest, with sensor extender and 2way remote so I can see if someone is breaking in.
