I do not think my yaris came with sliding rear seats...or did it? I have the base model with no power anything.

I could be wrong, but I believe that the sliding rear seats came with the power package
and that only the 60/40 rear seats are the sliding ones. Also, as shown in post # 9
above, there would be another indication on the top of the seat next to the one for
folding down. Does that make sense?

so glad i am a member here-2 and a half years and i just found this out. went out in the garage yesterday and did mine,it actually works. now i have a nice flat surface for the girls to lie on-headed over to menards and bought an outside door mat 3'x4', and it covers most of it nicely until i find something better for back there. i know its me but it looks bigger back there now-made my day with this info. thank you

How difficult is it to fit a 100x76x70 cm table in the Yaris? Simple, really.

Yeah convenience package yaris has it, at least 2010 models in CA. I looked at one from Toyota Place in Garden Grove, it had just convenience package w/ the roll up windows and all, and I was able to pull over the bridge. But iono, best way to find out is to go to your dealer and check it out yourself.

but like alot of things there is a problem...... and no i'm not gonna say when i slide my seats forward the gas sticks or breaks get messed up but i find there is a hole behind the rear seats before the hinged floor board....

i know if you fold the seats flat you flip the carpet part over and you have a pick up bt i can't seem to find a way(as part of the car and included) to cover up that hole!! it wouldn't be too much of a problem but it already pissed me off by swallowing my loose tools and flopping them around under the floor with the spare tire....

basically my question is did i miss something? i checked owners manuel and it doesn't even talk or use the series of words "sliding rear seats"

i know its probably hard to understand what exactly i'm saying..... its 3am and i'm tired as shit!! lol. will post pictures in the morning hopefully to clear things up.

Thanks again

I have a 2010 also(06/20/10) and yes this topic is outlined in the manuel....look closer at the manuel.

Oh -- really?!?!?! So the deck thingy that goes over the spare tire comes in half and the top part flips over? I saw in the owner's manual that I'm supposed to "flip over the deck board" but no explanation of where that IS, since clearly it can't be the one covering the spare tire b/c then there would be nothing COVERING the spare tire.

This explains it, though. I'll have to look at it. How hard is it to do this? I hate messing w/ plastic bits -- always afraid I'll break them!

It sticks a bit, but should be able to be done.
