It would be sooo cool if small European cars crossed the Atlantic!! (and we had a few more European car makers!). I don't think I could drive an Aygo where I live, but I can see myself driving it at a big city (LA, NYC, Washington, ETC) and just laugh at the other car owners for their big and gas guzzler things they drive! :D (I'll still do it with the Yaris though ;) )

I love the Aygo...the one I dream of owning is a Apple red 5-door (cause I think they look better on this car) with smoked headlights sort of like the one on the previous page just not modified. I would own this car for city driving (which its intended for anyway) and then keep the ECHO and Yaris (in my dreams) for longer hauls. The Aygo is where the previous gen Yaris left off, since the second gen Yaris got bigger the Aygo is filling that spot. Just imagine the 60mpg!!!

1 liter 3 cylinder i believe :) but look at the soccer video with those drivers doing skoalas and 180s. It's still a tiny yet powerful (power to weight ratio) car.

You might have seen the Top Gear episode featuring Aygos playing soccer. Well, here's a similar soccer match except this time is Toyota Aygos versus Volkswagen Foxes.

That is an awesome video! I saw the soccer opps I mean Football one with the Aygo's but I didn't see the match with the VW...I was rooting for the Aygo! The Fox looked pretty good, they should have really sent that over here, cause the Rabbit although nice doesn't compete well in my opinion, it starts just under 15K and gets horendous gas mileage! Granted the car has a lot of features but doesn't that defeat the purpose of an "economy" car? Not saying you can't have those features its just they should start the car at a lower price point and then offer those features at a higher price point for those who want to pay for it (not force people to pay for it by default).
Anyway it was funny that you can see the wheel covers come off and just about everything else. Maybe instead of crash tests they should do this with the cars to see how they endure a game of football (Soccer)!
I don't care for sports but if this was an official sport of having different small cars compete then I would pay$$$ to see this live!!

This may be old news, but...

It seems like Toyota will be bringing the Aygo over here in '08. I've added tha link to Edmunds' Inside Line section which lists the video. When you click the link, look on the right side of the page and you'll see the ad for the video (couldn't figure out a direct link, sorry).

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ex/make=toyota

Looks like a cool little car.

Getting the Aygo would be awesome, and I'll more than likely try to trade in for one. As long as it keeps it 1L engine or something similar, Yaris still uses more gas than I want it to and I baby it. And the more I think about it, its bigger than you think. Its the same size as an xB and the xB holds more people...IDK

I retract my previous statement. Upon further investigation, the 1L has a chaindrive instead of pulley. I'm out.
