True, the straighter it is the less resistance you will encounter. But with what he is doing I think it will be a good setup.

haha its all good...just impatient lol....and trubin i went with dc because i havent seen many yari with it, i always see megan, nitto, magnaflo etc...i also herd a sound clip of one on the yaris i forget whos but it sounded like the tone i was looking for. but all n all i kno its a good quality part and had great results with all dc products i have baught in the past.

God the wait sucks.......I started buying parts on the 2nd of February.....I am still waiting for 3 items.....same thing manufature is backordered....

so i got the intake in this morning. with removing stock intake and adding the new one only took about half hour. it looks purty and it had a very unique sound. i was expecting a more deep throty sound but its like a mix between a subaru and celica gts wen it hits lift. if u put those two tones together thats the sound my car makes now haha. all in all i like it and maybe this summer ill get fancy with the ram air tube and fab it thru the bumper.

Nice, any chance you get to see a video with some sound?
BTW did you strap it to something? The intake moved so much for me that I used the 2 rods that came with it to connect it with a bottom connection hole. Here's a pic.
I strapped it after to the tube with an extra clip I had

garm that is awsome news im so stoked and trubin i didnt have to use anything to support it. i installed it and started it, pushed and pulled on it ...it was solid.

Oh that's good. For some reason mine was jerking all over the place when I REV'ed it for the first time so I decided to connect it to something. I am going to try to make a short video to show the intake in action, I am really curious to see if it will make the exact same sound as yours.

yea i need a new camera i tried taken video with my phone and it sounded horrible like gorillas fighting with donkeys. birthday is commin up in april so maybe i can get a camera

exhuast arrived today so pumped to get it on tomaro!!!!

also trubin i noticed wen the rubber fittings on the intake warmed up it got real floppy i will b using the brackets to stablize the intake.

wen i get a new camera that actually records good sound quality ill put some up....but if i had to describe the sound.....very very deep not ricey at all and its pretty damn loud...i love it.
