Re ease of install, you actually can tap from the front signals as how they are originally wired. This way you can get 2 pairs of equal length wires to run from the door, through the fenders and then to the engine bay/wires going to the headlight.

If you want to be anal about it (cleaner install, like how i did it), you can ask scott or look around where your turn signals +12V are in the Junction Box.

icic, thanks :)

Scott, do you think these will fit ? http://www.ebay.com/itm/YARIS-2012-L...item19d5c8ed96

Also, is the wiring fairly easy ? just tap it into turn signal ?

Thanks

Do you have a diagram of the instalation of the jdm mirrors? Mine is a 5 pin 2 pin and I need help in how it close again with the switch.

the 2 pin is definitely the turn signal. that's interchangeable unless it's aftermarket or uses LED.

the 5-pin one's PINs#4 and 5 are for the retract. Pins 4 and 5 are the bottom ones at the connector (the top being the ones closest to the latch). these 2 are also "almost" interchangeable, since the switches function is to put the +12V to either wire depending on whether retracting or opening the mirrors.

HTH.

Wow very nice guys, I would like the same mirrors with turn signal for my car. Seeing that Iam in south africa I would like to know where can I find those mirrors, I dnt want those cheap quality ones that don't fit properly and fade. If I could get those from a scionxd it would be great. Iam near Lesotho would I find a scion there or do I need to order from the US. I also saw here in my country a yaris sedan with side mirror turn signals the model could be upto 2012. Guys any info will be much appreciated
