anyone know what are the bulb number for the "map light" I have a dome light # but I would like the map light one and I'm at work (and I'm shopping on the web)...

HiLED's came out with a new version of the 194. it has 8 chips compared to the others out there that has only 2 to 3 chips = not bright. it has the built-in circuit protection to insure that the LED doesn't get blown in case of an electric spike occurring.

I ordered my 194s around the 3rd of this month. I don't want to shell out that much money again if it's not that much of a difference. I got HiLEDs for my parking lights, the lights up front that you press to turn on, and the trunk lights. I also ordered the HiLED for the light in the center of the roof that goes on when you open your doors. Last one I ordered was the HiLED for the trunk / hatch area. They haven't shipped this trunk light to me yet. They say there's a "new style" trunk light coming out. It was supposed to be shipped out to me this past Monday, but I haven't heard anything from them yet.

the new 194's are pretty bright. and it's just a single LED. if you look at my other thread, http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5290, you can compare it to, say, the Varad, which has two LED's. it's much brighter than the Varad. i was also thinking about getting HiLEDs for my trunk compartment too.

if you ordered it through HiLED (when they were a vendor here), call (916) 334-5000 if you have questions regarding your order. ask for Shawn, he'll be more than willing to help you out.

IsLNdbOi: Yes, we do have a new 194 out. The more chips allows it to be more color stable and last longer. It is a little brighter but, if you have our previous style don't bother replacing them. That version was already a great product.
The new trunk festoon is awaiting production room. We received a huge contract keeping the machines busy on different models. Hopefully, the new style will be ready this week. Fingers crossed.
What do you think about the other HiLED bulbs you have?

Sorry took me so long to post my pics. This week at work has been nuts and I dind't get a chance to get to the car by the time I got home. Just ended up passing out! haha! Anyhow here as the pics of the led bulbs from SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.com Great stuff IMO at a great price. BTW none of these photos were taken with no flash. Just a tripod and click!









I know that many things have been said that Hileds have better technology and the superbrightleds go out and dont' tend to last. But I've been ordering from superbrightleds for my last 2 cars and its been a year already and no burnouts. The cost its way less and IMO you get a great product. Anyways just thought I'd post my pics up, you can make the final judgement. I had all the bulbs written down of what I ordered, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. If you guys are interested post and I'll reply with the ones I ordrered hopefully by tomorrow. If I remember correctly I wanna say that I ordered my full setup (license plate lights, dome light, map lights, and trunk light all for around $25 shipped.)

OK found the piece of paper i wrote it down on. These are the following that you need:

3 x WLED 6-LED (194/168) Bulb (WHITE) - 3.74 /piece (license plate, and map lights)

1 x 3022 4 LED Festoon Bulb (WHITE) - 2.84/piece (trunk light)

1 x 9 LED Festoon Bulb (WHITE) - 4.95/piece (dome light)

Total =$19.01 +$5 Shipping = $24.01

You guys can also get additional 194 LED bulbs which work as front wedge parking lights also butI ran PIAA instead. Hopefully this helps! I'm loving mine so far!
