I saw the end of a bad accident yesterday. Blood and people laying on the ground with more blood. Cars are dangerous. Be careful.

I guess I must have pissed off a truck driver on the hiway because after passing him, I guess he called out to the other truck in front of me and it all ended up with me being boxed in! Well, I showed them.....I just drove my YARIS under his trailer while we all were doing 80, and ended up in the third lane passing them both. Pretty cool eh? Vrrooooooommmm!
badass here Southern, NH

lol - reminds me of that guy on the motorcycle forum a few years back bragging online about how he evaded a cop, the cop signed on to the forum and showed up to the kids house and arrested him... May sill be able to find it if you search - the motorcycle forum was "Star Boys". Hope you go to jail or make it to your 17th birthday because thats pretty juvenile and pretty stupid too. Then you go brag about it and get flamed...

well anyway, it was really true. And i wasn't bragging so much as I was sharing an awesome experience. I mean if he had wanted to arrest me he coudl have, he was there, I didnt evade him. If he had wanted to beat me he could have. And no I don't do this often actually, I used to mess around alot, but not anymore. Usually im just trying to get to class. But this was a special occasion you know? its not often a police officer rolls up on you and you decide you want to challenge him and carry through with it and nothing happens. and shut the hell up about going under trucks damn it, going ot make me look false too.
anyway, one last thing to say: you doubters are so weak! not all cops joined the force so they could make sure nobody accelerated moderately off the line and exceeded the speed limit for 30 seconds you know. But now im going to become one of those whiners, so im done with this thread. peace. Last edited by BMGYaris; 04-23-2007 at 07:56 PM. |

Huh. Not often a cop lets felony speeding go unnoticed. 50mph over the speed limit should have landed anyone (but the cop, of course
) in jail immediately. I wonder if maybe it wasn't an actual cop, but maybe just a security service or one of those generic cars labeled "enforcement" that never do anything? Be easy to mix them up late at night, especially if it's parked directly beside you where you can't see all the labels. ![]() ~YR

This may quite possibly be the most pitiful thread yet on yarisworld.
Racing cops...just what I bought a Yaris for! Seriously....who buys a Yaris to race ANYONE? Here's a suggestion: Admins please open a 'fantasy racing' section where posters can pontificate about how they dusted the ever-so-common FBI agent in a Crown Vic 0 - 80 (in Kansas, on a flat road, downhill) or for kicks, how the Yaris puts the Lamborghini Gallardo on the trailer while the driver was busy talking on his cell phone to his accountant.

Hmmm...sorry but I dont know if I really belive this...You mean you brought the Yaris up to 190km/h just to cut someone off ? I dont think a Yaris can even each 190km/h...what tires do you have on, since regular tires are not safe at that speed...

Regular tires are rated for 185 km/hr, which is probably the actual cut-off speed for the Yaris. |

I didn't buy a Yaris to race cops, it just sortof happened once. I mean, imagine this. You go to the store to buy a hot glue gun so you can do some work around the house. You use it everyday for that purpose and then one day you think,"Hey! it would be funny to drip some on your sisters big toe!" Sure it was fun, but it sure as hell wasn't the purpose for the purchase. And it wasn't very nice or really very safe either. If you dont like that example make up your own, it will still have the same meaning |

We got some cool cops around here that will mess with you sometimes. Just gotta know which ones they are. We know most of them on a first name basis and if nobody else is around, you can usually have some fun.
Check with your local drag strip to see if they have a "Beat the Heat" event. They used to do it in Florida where you could drag race your car against a local cop in his cruiser and see who finished first.

Ran are these officially sanctioned events? Ive never heard of such. Seems the taxpayers would not like the idea of city or county Police or Sheriff equipment being abused at the local dragstrip for non-emergency situations.

I'm pretty sure that alot of the money and registration fees went to charities, but I can't remember. Either way, these were real cops in real patrol cars. Whether the cars had been retired from service or not, I couldn't tell you honestly.
