160 on 3rd is what i did last time.. err i mean 100mph (160kmh).. it did went up fairly quickly...

Fastest ive gone is 175kphwhich is 108mph
it seemed limited since the rev's were only 4800 in 5th, completley flat road, just wouldnt go faster than 175kph I was doing it for about 30 seconds before i gave up
are canadian models limited and american not?

Thats because top speed in this car is achieved in 4th gear goin all the way up to 6000rpm

hm didnt try that, it was pullin pretty good in 5th from 160 so i thought she coulda kept going, but yea thats a good point 4th grabs more horses, thanks

Yeah the 5th gear is an overdrive gear, really intended for quiet cruising at low engine rev, it won't have enough strength to push you to the max... as YarisPR said, redline in 4th, then try 5th, it might be able to give an extra push... If you have a long enough road
