Having maturity, manners and common courtesy in no way equates to "mindless robots".

It is most definitely not your prerogative to do what you "say and see is fit". No, you do not have a right to curse and be vulgar. I point you to a paragraph of the TOS that you agreed to when you created your account here:

Also, you do not have any right to free speech. Please understand the U.S. Constitution before you try to wave it around like some personal flag. Amendment I states that:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

That statement starts and ends with Congress (meaning the Government as a whole) not being able to stop you from speaking your mind... this responsibility by no means whatsoever extends into the private sector, let alone onto the Internet.

Offering some help to the site and other users does not, by any means, entitle you to make an ass of yourself time and again. Calling the user base as a whole "degenerates" is not only uncalled for but is also against the rules. See the forum rules.

And again you don't understand the whole freedom of speech thing. Your system would see books banned from libraries because you don't like the contents. My system means you can walk past the books of authors you don't like, and concentrate on the stuff you DO like. It's really very simple - it's called tolerance of others' ideas, and every dicator or tyrant in the world hates it.

I agree with Nutzoids on some points also. If this forum only talked about cars, this forum probably would be empty by now. That's why forums have off-topics sections, to keep things interesting.

If you don't like the threads subject then "Don't read it", plan and simple.

Maybe we should have a "Goodie two shoes" section.
