Just a question, out of personal curiosity, really, for the people who browse this forum regularly during work hours. This is something that I have been struggling with for some time now actually, but don't you feel bad about taking part in a personal pastime while you're on the clock? I mean, you're being paid to do a job, to be productive. Or perhaps I should be asking, do you let YW-time at work interfere with your work?

I mean no prejudice by asking this, not calling anyone lazy, just want some opinions, really

I minimize YW, check it every 5-20 minutes, and usually only respond to one thread at a time. Basically, I can work while I'm browsing. (I do graphic design.)

In truth I can finish my assigned "work" in about an hour or two. The majority of my day is taken up answering phone calls and fielding questions. So I do not feel bad about my YW visitation. I dont let YW bother my work.

Yeah that too. I can do my work in a timely fashion while still visiting YW.

I'm not sure my boss likes it, but I enjoy YW more that playing solitair on my iPOD. This is my link to sanity while I'm dealing with assholes and idiots most of my day.
