Also, I'm used to it as I also have an '02 Celia and even litte old ladies call that cute.

the only time this cute thing came in handy is when she said my car is so CUTE i told her "nooo.. shes cuter" got her to blushed a little and smile..then i walk away..lolz

Only two comments so far, my neighbor ask if it was electric and "Wow, that's a small car" (From the clerk at 7-11 when I parked between 2 full size trucks in front of the store.).
Once I get around to doing the exhaust, my neighbor will probably wish that it was electric.

my mom saw my car for the first time this past weekend and asked if it will even do 70 on the freeway. my dad thinks it's a death trap.

The first time I brought it to work, a co-worker (not knowing who's car it was) said he wanted to pick it up with the backhoe and spin it around. Everyone asks about mileage.

Girlfriend said it looks like an egg. She loves it.

I mostly get..."You get like 70 miles to the gallon with that thing?" or "Reminds me of one of those little wind up cars". I also get worse comments sometimes but that's usually from the redneck crybabies who work for one of the Little 3.

I was just at the mechanics and we where looking under the hood in the parking lot when another customer came up (btw he had a pretty cool WWII era JEEP) he looked at my engine and asked "Didnt those used to be called Singer? ... me and the mechanic just looked at each other not understanding the comment .... and the other guy then said "ya know like the sewing machine" and laughed! It was all in good fun but It defiantly was a first for me lol

I was showing under the hood to one guy at work, when another walked up and said "wow it really does have 4 cylinders"

The Yaris looks to me like half a car. Like someone forgot to add the rear end to the car.
It fits into a lot of parking spaces though. All of the sudden I am seeing half cars everywhere. I saw a "cube" a few days ago. They are making some vehicles square now. It's hip to be square.

When I had my car valet since there was no street parking available, the attendant said he loves small cars because they're easy to park. No would would be laughing trying to find a parking spot on the residential streets of San Francisco.
