Autocross in Orange County this weekend!

http://www.solo2.com/eventpage.asp?eid={273D744C-BDCC-4CD9-ABA3-9891BF9A64DE}

I know that Fontana is too far for many of you, so Sunday's autocross is in your backyard at El Toro. It was a huge course the last time I raced it.

See you there! errr Jill

Sounds like fun I would like to register however I need a little help finding everything! I'm sure registering is much easier the second time around.

You can register on site. First off, please list all your mods. We have to determine what class you'll be racing in. That will deterimine what time you race.

Here's the run order for Sunday's race. If I stayed in my class, I'd be racing in the morning with CSM or SM but I'm willing to run in the afternoon with other HS Yarii, especially noobs.

Yes. I was hoping for more but 3 is the most that we have ever had. I plan on being there around 11:00 so that I can walk the course during the lunch break.

You and I and Jesus will probably be racing at 2:00. We work the course at 3:00.

Bring sunscreen and a hat!

So we shouldn't worry about getting there early and reserving a space?

That's a little funny :)
No worries about space. PLENTY of it. Whomever gets there first, just save a few spots on either side of the Yaris for the other Yarii coming. YAY

Arctic, it's not bad at all. I worried and was nervous my first time out, but you quickly get over it and have fun. Sounds like this course is longer and should be a blast. (and it's legal....and safer - LOL)

See ya sunday!

It went pretty well. LOL Yaris wasn't exactly the fastest on the track this time around...and there was one tiny little time where I thought I was done with the course, and was parking my car next to the cones.
(Drove it too hard, had brake lock, and almost came to a full stop)

Fun times though!

LOL - I was thinking similar. And suspension. And swaybar. And CAI. And...

Anyway, here's a video of the course.

you can actually see that? yikes!
That was actually my CRX. I had the cam in LT Noogie's yaris during the HS runs. I totally forgot the cam has an auto-power off function, and the cam was never turned on after my CRX runs.
But yeah, that CRX was ALLLLLL over the place! Still managed better times than the Yaris. I need to work on suspension for BOTH cars.
