Worn out tires - help
I have a set of near worn out tires at the front L and R. And the rear L and R are almost new. When I turn in a curve at speed, sometimes I can hear squeaking noise. So I did a rotation today, now the new set are at the front and the near worn out set are at the rear.
Is there a problem with that? The car is heavier at the front and is FWD, would a rear skid more likely to happen in terms of the wheel set I have now? Cheers

You'll be ok(definitely not good, but ok) as long as you don't drive in the rain. I hydroplaned and spun out into a guard rail on the freeway with good front tires and bad rear tires. It was a similar weight FWD corolla that this happened in btw.
Rotate sooner next time. A lot sooner |

I buy two tires at a time, when the fronts wear out, I move them to the back and put two new ones on the front, i never move worn out tires to the rear.
I know, im not following the rotation pattern. |

i would get 2 new tires, you should be able to get matching ones pretty cheap, and it's always easier when your paying for 2 tires at a time instead of 4.

That's what I did but mine were worn due to the previous owner dropping it without getting an alignment.
