Smart Spoiler?
I got a Spoiler for x-mass (see-gift exchange post). In the post you can see how I tucked my 15 high intensity LEDs inside the instrument cluster finish panel for an analog tachometer display. What I'm wondering is has anyone cut into one of these spoilers and sealed them back up before paint? I would use 5mm clear/red (12,000 mcd)LEDs. The brake LEDs I'd drive at 30 milliamps in the center for an aux. brake light and the sequential turn signal rows on each side would be driven at 20 milliamp for less intensity. With a micro-controller it ain't hard to program. When I was a kid I used to love the Ford T-bird sequential turn signals. It's tedious to solder in all the fine wires but it would really stand out in traffic.
