How do you get salt out of the carpet?
Hi, I searched but found nothing so...
How does one get the salt out of the carpet? It's all crusty and gross after many winters despite having a rubber floor mat, and I can't think of a way to get ride of it. Thank you. |

Vinegar. Calcium Chloride road salt leaves calcium deposits, which are not really water soluble like Sodium Chloride deposits are. Mix vinegar 50/50 with warm water, spray the salt stains, let them soak for about 1/2 hour, then rinse.
