Panoramic Glass Sunroof

Hey,

OK, so i've given up on th Blitz Supercharger coz I don't want drama, LOL!

Decided to go for a Webasto Hollandia 524 Panoramic Glass Sunroof... Largest glass sunroof available, 33" x 54" with twin-glass and blinds, etc...

Anyone else thought of doing this, or anyone even got a normal sunroof done?

Can't think of a better looking Mod than this for my Vitz RS....

lots of custom work on that project.. less drama with a supercharger than this.. custom headliner and routing drain tubes and wiring.. not to mention once that hole is cut in the roof, it will never be the same again... i think it would look so bad ass and i love those glass sunroofs but customizing a car for it is not worth it to me. if you do go with it i wish you the best of luck and id like to see a thread on that

What drama?

Sunroof would be cool, I wish mine had one.

Well, i live in Malawi, Africa, and there's pretty much nobody here that would be able to give me a hand with supercharging the RS unless anyone wants to come out on holiday here as a supercharging volunteer, heehee!

I would love a smaller power sunroof, are there any out there for Yaris that will fit right?

I gotcha -- the sunroof is a project too -- I suggest you find the shop that will do the install for you first, it has to be perfect, no leaks and no flaws or damage outside or inside!!

There was a thread on here a long time ago, with someone who posted the brand and model they installed -- it was VERY nicely done.

CT Scott has a power sunroof and I have a pop-up
One of the best things I've done with my HB, It really opens the cabin up. Don't worry about the cuts- If it's done by someone who knows what they are doing, there will be no problems

It seems they have fitted it to a Toyota ist already (same as a Scion something-or-other).. but would really be a fantastic mod for a Yaris/Vitz.....

i hate panoramin sunroof's on BMW...always a problem...always a leak, and always noisey.

good luck with it...also, your roof is a structural integral part of the vehicle. be sure to brace properly or you'll be popping glass all the time.

find someone who does it, and get some referrals. People add sunroofs all the time without problems. I know in the US, pretty much every dealer has a place that adds sunroofs to their cars.

Webasto is definitely the way to go if you are going to do it. I have the Webasto Hollandia 730 Power Moon Roof on mine and it's been great. Here's a thread on it:
