Need Confirmation

I've read through all I can, and I want to confirm what I read.

Currently I'm lowered on DF210 springs. I was looking at the Konig Lightspeed wheels, 15X6.5 +38 (10.8lb, $99 each). I want to run a 205 width tire. But my research on this thread tells me NO.

I just want to confirm that a 205 will rub, and a 185 or 195 is recommended. And sadly, I doubt I can machine off 4mm from the mounting surface to give me a +40.

Thanks in advance.

i run 225/50/15 khumo v700 Rcomp tires on 15x7.0 rims +40 W/ megan full racing coilovers.. all i did was roll my fenders and i dont rub at all when i autocross.

personally.. i would say go for it.. if they rub, im sure a simple fender roll would fix the problem.. honestly i cannot do the math in my head right now to confirm anything with your setup but it doesnt sound too off thinking about it..

hope someone here can verify what your asking for.. i say try it.. worse case, just gotta sell them again and try to get your money back.. good luck

Yeah, I guess I could measure the car and do the math, but I was hoping someone on here could tell me quicker.

I have almost that setup myself (NF210's instead of DF's, 205/50R15 on 6.5" wheels) plus 10mm spacers and there is mild rubbing going on. Removing the rear seat pretty much fixed it for me, although it may not be a possibility for you.

Just like @ilikerice said, nothing some fender rolling can't fix. I say go for it.

Yeah, I can't really remove any weight in the rear. If anything, the stuff I need to carry around weighs the back down more than I want. I guess I might have to buy them and try since no one else has?
