Sedan K Sport Coilover Install **PICS**

I was searching through the net for days and didn't really find any info
on the KSports going on the sedan, so for the people out there just like me
heres some pics from my install this weekend.

Morning shot of my baby in front of Garage Js4Kix here in Honolulu

Wheel gaps

Took off the wipers, plastic (three pins) and water squirter hose

Remove the top bolt and cup

Remove the strut, brake mount, and tie rod bolts

Used a spring clamp (not pictured) to hold the OEM spring to take off
a few parts (bearing, rubber stopper, top nut)

Heres the boss lady of the shop, getting dirty starting on the back

To get to the top of the back strut was a bitch. Had to remove the plastics.
Pictured below is a guide with a rubber washer attached. The K Sport
threads aren't long enough to go through so I just cut it and added a metal
washer

Heres an end of the day shot of shop owner Gary priming my custom splitter

Words of wisdom, adjust heights before bolting things in, make things tight.

Finish pictures to come

For a ride description, the ride isn't as stiff as I thought it would be. The springs settled in the rear about a 1/2 inch after a couple times around the block, so I had to take off the rear tires/springs to adjust the ride height.
I had my reservations about spending the money for the coilover setup instead of springs, but after I was able to adjust the ride height I realized the choice was worth it.

Here goes. I have at least another 1.5 inches to go down. Right now I have it at a height to where I can get out of my driveway safely. There is camber now in the front which makes it interesting to turn when the road is wet.
Full sound deadening next week. XXR rims coming next month.
