cold air intake
ok so im looking for the intake tube . just the tube to make a cold air intake. i have a cone filter but i need a tube that will not mess up the sensor for the air intake. anyone know where to get one ?

You could use your stock air tube, that's the cheapest of all.

remove your airbox. install hi-flow cone filter on the stock rubber intake tube.
I can probably find a picture.

The airflow sensor stays in the tube. You remove only the box, just after where the sensor sits.

Thats probably the most practical and truthful thing Ive read all day! I know its do-able. My friends got a 2010 XB he did the same thing to.

I prefer a short ram kit like AFE, K&N or various other cold air intakes, but here you go, this worked on our test car with no CELs:

What size filter do you need...2.5 or 3"?

Looking at it again, we used the tube from a Simota kit PLUS the filter in that picture. I'd have to look at a stock set up again to see how the stock MAF is placed.
